The Insight developers and I collaborated with our client to create an initial version of a web application using Microsoft Power Apps—a cost-effective and user-friendly tool for building custom applications with low-code. However, we encountered several limitations with Power Apps, such as restricted screen space and limited drag and drop capabilities. Our client's specific requirement was to have a solution that allowed task delegation, assignment, and tracking for various meetings or events, like quarterly meetings. To meet the tight budget and timeline, I used Figma for wireframes and prototypes. Working closely with a developer, we iterated daily to accelerate the project. By testing and refining the designs every day, we were able to expedite the final product, completing it within weeks rather than months.
