Project information

MidAmerican Energy Company wanted to develop a mobile-first application giving builders the ability to submit electrical and gas work orders from the field. The app would allow builders to create projects, collaborate with teammates, track progress and gather the necessary documents all in one place. During the first month of thorough discovery sessions, myself and my team were able to understand and document the clients current work process and create a backlog to build a successful solution that met their project goals. Over the next 11 months, the team built a progressive web app for mobile and desktop responsiveness using a Scrum framework of two-week sprints. QA testing and user acceptance testing were implemented to ensure the mobile app worked well on multiple cross-platform devices. I was assisting and mentoring a talented junior UX and visual designer while creating test scripts for QA and UAT. We utilized Adobe XD for the wireframes and final prototypes.
